Michael Shettel, Vice President of Design for Alfred Angelo, began his career in the fashion capitol of New York City. While attending the renowned FIT, he received awards from some of the fashion world's greatest icons, such as Giorgio Sant'Angelo, Arnold Scassi and Hubert de Givenchy.

After earning a degree in fashion design and a BFA from FIT, Michael set out on his professional journey. His boundless creativity, passion and intense appreciation of the arts have provided him the opportunities to work with some of the most prestigious fashion names in the world such as Shirley Goodman, Founder of FIT; Diana Vreeland at the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum Art; Tommy Hilfiger; Irving Penn and for Hubert de Givenchy in Paris. When designing the bridal collections, Michael looks at every woman as an individual inspiration. He feels that a woman should be center stage on her wedding day and her unique characteristics should shine through with her choice of gown. His spirit and enthusiasm keep the Alfred Angelo collections fresh, fashion forward and timeless for thousands of brides across the globe.

Fashion designer. Born June 27, 1949, in New York City. The daughter of affluent Chinese immigrants, Wang enjoyed a pampered childhood growing up on Manhattan's Upper East Side. She attended the elite Chapin School and the School of American Ballet, before enrolling at Sarah Lawrence College. During her sophomore year, Wang briefly studied abroad at the Sorbonne in Paris, but returned to the United States to complete her degree in art history.

A talented figure skater, Wang competed professionally throughout her teens. In the 1968 and 1969 U.S. National Championships she and her partner, James Stuart, placed fifth in the junior pairs competition. Upon her graduation from college, in 1971, Wang shelved her skating career and began working for Vogue magazine. Within a year, at the age of 23, Wang was promoted to senior fashion editor. She held that title for the next 15 years. In 1987, she left Vogue to take a job as design director for accessories at Ralph Lauren.

Nikki Johnson (Nikki J) grew up in the beautiful English countryside amongst pretty, wild flowers which started a passion in Nikki for beautiful things and attention to detail.

At age fifteen after creating clothes for her ‘pippa’ dolls and teddy, Nikki created her first three dresses for herself which were cut and sewn on the table of her family’s farm house kitchen after she had dyed pieces of cotton material in a variety of pretty pastel shades which led to four years at fashion college learning professional design and pattern cutting, she also attended specialist courses at the London College of Fashion.

Nikki has worked with leading Bridalwear Designers in London including Emanuels.

Nikki J has been successfully running her business for twenty years, beginning with designing and selling ballgowns to two exclusive boutiques in Manchester, during which time she progressed naturally to making the wedding dresses of her friends dreams. Nikki's designs have been featured on television, in leading bridal magazines and local and national press.

The majority of Nikki's work nowadays comes via word of mouth where she has built up an enviable reputation prefering to work with the finest pure silks and laces, including beautiful antique laces, and personally seeing that each client feels and looks their best for their special day with her meticulous eye for attention to detail, a perfect cut and fit and friendly, personal service. Her clients have ranged from everybody from secretaries to Aristocrats and high flying City girls.
